Rising health insurance costs hit small employers too

As David Lazarus notes, rising premiums are causing plenty of employers to either lower amount they help employees with health care costs, or abandon it all together. For an independent consultant, whether an attorney or a web designer, these tough decision can be even more painful since there isn't much effort being made in Washington to help the solo professional.
