”I am sure I could go on and on about how wonderful this project management program is. Thank you Mavenlink for making work life easier.” - Lee Drozak, Owner & Chief Virtual Professional of My Office Assistant
Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?
A: Lee Drozak - My Office Assistant is a full service agency that implements and strategizes to allow you to run your business efficiently and professionally. Our mission is to provide results oriented service designed to meet client needs and objectives by providing cost-effective services as well as excellent customer support.
Unlike other Virtual Assistant firms, we maintain a wide range of experience to meet each of our client’s business needs. We excel in web design and development, internet marketing, social media, bookkeeping, public relations, general administration, eCommerce, process management and more.
Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?
A: Lee - After trying many other project management applications, including Basecamp and ClientSpot, we were not happy with the functionality and integration into Google Apps for Business. We found Mavenlink during an app search and have not looked back since.
Q: Sean - How has Mavenlink helped your business?
A: Lee - Mavenlink has helped me manage my team and client projects with ease. We like that we can collaborate in real-time and link to the different Google products, including Google Docs. Finding supporting documents that go with each project has saved considerable time, along with maintaining all conversations that go with each task.
The time tracking and expenses piece of the puzzle is the icing on the cake. Now my clients know where they stand with expenses and I know how much time my team is spending on each task.
Q: Sean - What do your clients, consultants, and fellow co-workers say about Mavenlink?
A: Lee - My consultants love that everything they need is at their fingertips and a few of my clients now have accounts for their own business. My web maintenance clients also like that they can just upload files to their project and do not have to worry if it is received in my inbox.
Many of my clients love that the project dashboard is clean and easy to use while they are getting updated statuses on any open (or closed) projects that they have.
Q: Sean - Please explain the Results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.
A: Lee - We have implemented the shared Google contacts, integrated our calendars and attach supporting documents with Docs. I no longer have to worry about hoping back and forth to find an email address or to see if a consultation is posted on my calendar.
Finding files for each project or task is great with the link to my Google Docs. You just need to find the task or deliverable and link to the file. Once the link is established, no more searching your files, click the attached link and the document opens automatically. Best yet, no worry if you are working from the latest version.
Q: Sean - Anything else you want to tell us?
A: Lee - I like that Mavenlink has a board where you can submit ideas for improvements, which I have done. When I submitted my suggestion, I got an immediate response that it was a good idea and would be added to the queue. Best yet, you can follow all the suggested improvements and see if they are in progress, added or have additional comments by customer service. Customer service is a-one and they really do listen to their customers.
