”Clients love it and can see the progress of their projects, and can easily communicate and interact.” - Alex Cornwell, Customer Integration of VersaChannel
Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?
A: Alex Cornwell - VersaChannel is an online marketing company specializing in lead generation and presence management. As a new code has been created, we now allow our customers to compete with national providers through building an organic platform that dominates keywords and geotargets. We call it saturation services in internet, business directory, and social.
Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?
A: Alex - We came across Mavenlink while in the Google Apps Marketplace.
Q: Sean - What pain points has Mavenlink helped solve?
A: Alex - Worldwide project management: At a snapshot, we can run a high volume of projects and stay on time.
We have an end goal to have it integrate through the Mavenlink API with our other applications. This would create a single system connected. A simple invoice system integrated with a strong API enabling an invoicing portal, and customer relationship management feeding projects into Mavenlink.
Q: Sean - What do your clients, consultants, and fellow co-workers say about Mavenlink?
A: Alex - So far, clients love it and can see the progress of their projects, and can easily communicate and interact. Coworkers find it simple to use.
Q: Sean - Please explain the Results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.
A: Alex - I love the interaction with Google Apps. We’d like to see it interact with Insightly’s CRM or another CRM for customer fulfillment, which would turn opportunities into projects! [Sean: We are currently working on both light-CRM features, along with integrations with select full service CRM companies. Excited to get those underway.]
Q: Sean - Anything else you want to tell us or features you’d like to see?
A: Alex - Budget versus expenses improvements. Also, all businesses have markup. I want to track true costs of labor rather than just the hour billable or put into it. Followup reminders and emails and it’d be great for timelines to trigger events to email and remind teams of actions due.
