”With Mavenlink, we are much more efficient with everything.” - Stephen King, President of Interior Door and Closet Company

Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?

A: Stephen King - Interior Door and Closet Company is located in Huntington Beach and installs interior doors, closet doors, and closet organizers throughout Orange County. In addition, we offer in-home consultations, in-home removal and off-site construction before we install your doors or closets.

Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?

A: Stephen - Our team uses Google Apps, and needed an online project management tool that integrated seamlessly and was easy to onboard our team. We found Mavenlink in the Google Apps Marketplace project management section at the top so we started there and have never looked back.

Q: Sean - What pain points has Mavenlink solved for your business?

A: Stephen - We rely heavily on shared Google Calendars so integrating that with Mavenlink and our tasks, which are now synced with Google Tasks was a must. The Google Contacts integration is nice as we can easily invite other contractors or employees. Also, we can have all back-and-forth for each job in one centralized location for the whole team to see, even if we are managing a remote project team in different cities in Orange County.

Q: Sean - What do your clients, consultants, and fellow co-workers say about Mavenlink?

A: Stephen - We have not been using it with clients, but our contractors and fellow employees have really enjoyed working within Mavenlink. As I mentioned before, it's great to have everything in one place and provide the transparency for everybody to work together.

Q: Sean - Please explain the results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.

A: Stephen - With Mavenlink, we are much more efficient with everything we are doing. No more lost documents. No more missed appointments. All tasks are completed more timely and we have been able to create more streamlined processes in how we operate our business. Even though we are a brick-and-mortar door and closet company, we still rely on technology to improve the way we function as a business.
