Role Overview:
The Payroll and Benefit Administrator assists with the preparation of those operations and makes payroll journal entries. The Administrator generates reports on employees' wages and mandatory and voluntary deductions and on employer taxes and contributions. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll for over 300 employees, as well as monthly processing for 40 international employees. 

  • Reviews and ensures the accuracy of approved timesheets; tracks and deducts all garnishments and other special payroll deductions

  • Onboards and offboards employees through the payroll and benefit systems.

  • Administers payroll and benefit changes in accordance with company policy and governing laws and regulations

  • Processes employee expense reimbursements and prepares payroll reports for management

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with HR personnel and managers to process new hires and terminations

  • Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and ethical behavior

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Willingness to accept changes to the role as department needs and company growth demands

  • Attention to detail

  • Education: Bachelor Degree, Business Admin or Accounting, or Associate Degree with three years of payroll and benefit admin experience in lieu of Bachelor Degree

  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years performing payroll and benefit admin functions

    • 1-3 years using ADP Workforce now and Microsoft Excel

Appreciated, but not required: 
  • Experience with NetSuite

  • Experience with international payroll admin
