We are searching for a high-energy, self-motivated Operations Analyst to join Mavenlink. This individual will be a central part of the Business Operations division working collaboratively to drive strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the company. 

As a Business Operations team member, you thrive on driving change and adding significant value to an organization. You fully immerse yourself in problem-solving, draw insights from the analysis, and develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. You persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation, and check back in to see the impact of your recommendations. The Business Operations team is at the forefront of Mavenlink's fast-moving strategic priorities, tackling operational challenges and enabling innovation.

The Operations Analyst is expected to raise team efficiency, productivity, and process compliance through consultation with business leaders and implementation of best practices. This position will manage the support functions essential to sales and services productivity. These functions include planning, reporting, sales process optimization, sales and services commissions, program implementation, territory analysis, and management of KPIs for the business. The Operations Analyst will be the primary point of contact for the Sales and Services Teams and act as a liaison with Executive leaders, Marketing, Finance and other departments. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Work with Sales and Services Leadership to define and implement programs and processes
  • Review Sales and Services deals to confirm compliance with current policies & pricing and ensure orders are booked through to invoicing
  • Liaise closely with Legal to ensure efficient contract review process for any non-standard terms, including the initial review of legal requests coming from customers
  • Liaise with Finance and flag any issues to Management that could delay order processing (e.g. credit issues, system issues, revenue recognition, collection, and credit, etc.)
  • Administer, manage, and report on bookings/revenue forecasts and actual results
  • Assist in the forecasting process by providing weekly reports to Management participating in regularly scheduled forecast calls with the teams
  • Assist with and attend monthly Business Reviews
  • Thoroughly understand commission and bonus plans to ensure commission and bonus payments are accurate and in compliance
  • Manage the overall sales commissions process, which includes but is not limited to working with Sales and Services teams in configuring plans in commissions system, rolling out commission plan documents, maintaining the commissions system to ensure that all data required (i.e. commission rates, quotas, revenue, crediting rules) for all plan participants are accurate
  • Research and resolve any commission payout disputes and process any payout adjustment requests, recalculate commissions, validate for accuracy
  • Support audit deliverables related to commissions payouts and provide assistance related to compliance testing of sales commissions processes
  • Participate as required, in developing and delivering training materials on policies, processes, and systems 

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or services environment, preferably with background in SaaS
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally
  • Ability to analyze and present data in a way that meets the needs of the audience
  • Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who is also able to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure with a sense of urgency while remaining focused and maintaining accuracy
  • Extremely high personal and professional integrity
