  • self-driven and love to seek out, identify, and find the root cause of bugs


  • assertive and able to work with minimal supervision


  • skilled at communicating in both technical and non-technical realms

  • able to work with distributed teams and prioritize tasks


  • collaborative and value giving and receiving feedback

  • excited about iterating on processes and making continuous improvements to personal and team workflows

  • comfortable jumping into Web Inspector, Network Activity, and Console Log


  • willing to jump in and pair with Engineers when the opportunity comes up

  • always digging deeper to provide detail around bugs and know-how to find that information for Engineers using tools like Airbrake and New Relic

  • familiar working in an Agile environment and have knowledge of continuous integration tools 


  • knowledgeable with HTML, JS, CSS, and SQL


  • experienced with API testing using tools like Postman or Terminal


Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert on the inner workings of the Mavenlink app (in browser, mobile, and chrome extension)

  • Create and execute test plans based on product requirements and specifications


  • Work with Product Managers and Engineering Team Leads to validate acceptance criteria to keep all teams are accountable 

  • Maintain and communicate testing timelines, schedules, and status reports


  • Verify that features work correctly and respect permissions and plan, while keeping an eye open for regressions


  • Identify product defects, log issues into a bug tracking system, and verify fixes
  • Validate the user experience flow to ensure it solves the problem as outlined


  • Work with Support Team Lead to triage and provide product context in the bug prioritization process


Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree or 3+ Years Equivalent Experience

  • Eagerness to work and collaborate with other team members

  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
