As a Mavenlink Business Development Rep - Mid-Market, you will drive outbound lead generation along the pre-sales process for our Mid Market Sales teams. This is a key role to help manage our pre-sales process by fostering new business relationships through outbound outreach. You will proactively qualify buying interest, use case, and size of potential accounts and distribute them to the Mid-Market Sales team by way of setting appointments by following our qualification criteria.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with your paired Account Executive to prospect and create new leads to increase MidMarket sales pipeline

  • Route qualified opportunities to our Mid-Market sales team by setting appointments

  • Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social in coordination with
our enablement tools
  • Work in collaboration with the Account Executive (territory/account/contact planning and execution)

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospects’ objections

  • Assist AE with Marketing Initiatives

  • Exceed monthly quota of qualified appointments

  • Be a brand champion and educate prospective clients on Mavenlink’s value proposition.

  • Maintain an active social presence on LinkedIn that generates strong brand awareness.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience with a track record of success selling in an outbound B2B role

  • Experience in technology (ideally SaaS) sales environment

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, LeadIQ, Google Suite of productivity tools (ex. Sheets, Docs, Slides) preferred

  • Experience in an environment focused on Account-based sales development

  • Ability to demonstrate self-motivation to improve knowledge and skills through personal research and development

  • Well organized, go-getter mentality, and a pre-planner

  • Natural curiosity, a love for learning

  • Mavenlink knowledge a plus

Skills Required
  • Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, listening)

  • Self-motivated and highly driven with the ability to work with limited direction and collaborate with geographically remote team members

  • Social selling skills and techniques are a plus

  • Conducting research via social media or other means to gain insight into potential prospects needs

  • A high level of integrity

  • Demonstrate ability to converse and engage with senior level decision makers

  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, numbers-driven, performance-based environment

  • Strong organization skills and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities
