The Director of Human Resources contributes to Mavenlink’s success by applying best-in-class HR principles around business planning, organizational design, culture development, training, and performance management. This role will support the organization by developing, implementing, and managing competitive HR programs and initiatives across the organization. This role reports to the SVP of HR and will be located in our Irvine office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and develops strategies, programs, and activities to support current and future employee experiences
  • Responsible for the successful design and execution of employee-centered programs, including but not limited to: on-boarding, training, talent assessments, employee engagement, and succession planning
  • Oversees the delivery of new hire onboarding programs and consults with the business to incorporate improvements
  • Partners with business leaders to improve talent management efforts
  • Oversees the performance management process in partnership with business leaders; coaches management on performance management best practices
  • Develops performance plans to correct performance deficiencies
  • Works with managers and employees to ensure consistency of ongoing performance appraisal process
  • Educates management regarding the performance appraisal process and performance measurement criteria to ensure consistent application of the programs
  • Consults with leadership at all levels regarding recommended employee development tactics and serving as a resource on best practices  
  • Creates and executes a learning & development strategy; leads projects that enhance the employee experience
  • Leads employee engagement initiative from survey launch, results analysis, communication, action planning, and progress tracking
  • Identifies qualified external consultants as needed, monitoring and managing their work

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Prior experience working in dynamic environments requiring both strategic expertise as well as the proven ability and interest to be hands-on
