The Role

About the opportunity

As a Client Success Coordinator at Mavenlink, you’ll report to our Manager of Client Success and work directly with our clients to strengthen their relationship with our product. From the time our clients sign up to use our product, they’re paired with a Client Success Coordinator for ongoing support, renewals, and account expansions. You’d be owning the relationship and continuing to ensure Mavenlink is the best product for our clients!


Goals and Responsibilities

This is more than a support role - you’ll have a chance to own the relationship accounts of a book of clients in our small business sector. From initial kickoff to account renewal, you’ll be there for the entire client journey. Unlike other support roles, this is going to be focused on the relationship you can build and the empowerment you can provide; the ability to maintain strong long-term relationships will be a key to your success! Success in this role also stems from:


  • Understanding the client’s business needs and objectives and ensure Mavenlink is providing for their growing needs
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong network of relationships with key client contacts, sales team members, and internal departments
  • Conducting initial onboarding and introductory training sessions with clients
  • Becoming the clients’ go-to person - researching and resolving inquiries from your clients and providing superior service through multiple channels
  • Positioning Mavenlink as the best product for clients’ needs and guiding them through the contract renewal negotiation process

Your Profile
You’re intrigued by the energy of sales but are more motivated towards upholding great long-term relationships. People are your passion - being the point of contact and owning relationships with clients makes you feel fulfilled. You recognize that software solutions aren’t just changing individual lives, but changing the way business is done and you have a genuine interest in what our product can do for our clients’ business. Our newest Client Success Coordinator will bring with them:


  • 2+ years’ experience in account management, training, or client support 
  • A technical aptitude that allows you to navigate through light technical solutions and engage in consultative dialogue with client contacts at various levels
  • Sound judgement in business decisions and negotiations
  • Exceptional communication skills across all channels and the ability to remain organized as you manage your client book
  • The ability to flex and be adaptable to change in a fast-paced, startup environment
