The Role

  • Master a rapidly evolving product and the use cases relevant to a variety of industries
  • Demonstrate and highlight Mavenlink’s robust features, functions, and marketplace leadership by working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Engage in a consultative selling process with Account Executives, gaining customer trust based on the communicated requirements of the software and engagement
  • Build and present custom product demonstrations, showcasing relevant functionality to potential clients
  • Scope and build Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations and participate in pilot engagements, helping potential clients visualize product fit in their environment
  • Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring short-listing of the solution
  • Develop and communicate best practice recommendations and creative solutions for prospective clients when a core product solution may not be available
  • Work with the Product Management team, helping short-list key requirements on the product roadmap for increased sales success
  • Build ongoing relationships with power users and influencers during sales cycles to generate ideas on further product enhancements and improvements

The Candidate
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to audiences of all sizes
  • Ability to understand a potential client’s needs and clearly articulate a solution
  • Prior participation in major project delivery or consulting efforts, lending a deep understanding of project management tools and processes
  • Experience in handling customer objections
  • Degree in business or technical field of study or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and common IT requirements
  • Up to 20% travel as needed
