About the Role:
  • Strategy consulting today requires the ability to see how business, technology, and operations intersect.
  • Manage and support the implementation of our client’s solutions/integrations, as well as key internal projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Project planning and coordination, project team resource management, and overall delivery to ensure our clients experience value through the Mavenlink solution.
  • Relationships, relationships, relationships. Quickly establish trusted relationships with our clients, project teams, and with key stakeholders both within Mavenlink and across our partner network.
  • Create a climate where team members are inspired to do their best by establishing and maintaining shared goals and by setting clear and concise expectations.

About the Job:
Our ideal candidate will:

  • Understand our clients’ business needs and objectives while ensuring alignment with the Mavenlink solution to drive desired business results.
  • Successfully manage the implementation of concurrent, complex projects by understanding and deploying project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ensure deliverables and commitments from multiple organizations are coordinated with efficiency and harmony for geographically dispersed project teams.
  • Develop and meet realistic project time frames by implementing achievable, end to end project plans.
  • Ensure a high level of fiscal control over projects by developing, tracking and meeting forecast goals related to productivity and profitability.
  • Create and deliver project level reporting to communicate status, required actions, financial metrics and potential risks or issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess and solve complex business problems.
  • Assist services sales in the identification, exploration, and pursuit of new and add-on business opportunities.
  • Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvements via post project reviews and root cause analysis.
  • Be a mentor and coach to junior team members.

About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a go-getter, a collaborator and has a can-do attitude.

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the unique challenges faced by professional services companies and the opportunities and solutions available in the market.
  • Ability to manage the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools and all phases of the project lifecycle. Including the following: plan and assess, design and build, train and deploy, and go-live.
  • Knowledge related to managing and tracking project ROI metrics with experience in the development and presentation of business cases.
  • Strong leadership ability to manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to leverage both formal channels and informal networks.
  • Ability to drive performance while guiding and directing both internal and external project teams via local and virtual channels.
  • Ability to effectively cope with change and maintain high levels of performance while mitigating risk and addressing areas of uncertainty.
  • Experience in establishing clear direction, defining goals, and distributing workloads to the appropriate teams and individuals.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to influence, motivate, and lead people within and outside team.
  • Be a team player! Ability to interact and perform in a cross-functional team environment while remaining sensitive to the varying cultures of both internal and external organizations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 4+ years of progressive experience.
  • Proficient in the use of standard business applications and specialized in-house and customer systems
  • Knowledgeable about standard software development process methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) and tools. Comfortable developing implementation assets.
  • 1-3 years experience at a consulting firm, software company, or equivalent in an internal project management role.
  • 3-5 years experience working in a client-facing role, either as an external consultant or an internal client/customer supporting role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience assisting in the development of business cases to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives or systems implementations.
