We are looking for a Human Resource expert to attract, retain, and motivate our
Mavenlink Team (called “Mavens”). Doing so will include designing, implementing, and managing programs and services that cultivate and sustain our talented team. The Director of HR will provide leadership and oversight of various programs within the department and across the organization. This position will work closely with company leaders to support company goals and business initiatives. Technology, data, and HR practices will be utilized to optimize new and existing processes and practices. Areas of focus will include: talent acquisition & diversity, organizational structure & design, performance management, talent & career development, succession planning, employee retention initiatives, etc.

  • Proven track record in fast-paced technology centered environment (or
  • similar) where designing and architecting solutions is approached with
  • energy and enthusiasm
  • Self-starting style and successful in a dynamic, fast-paced, and often
  • ambiguous environment
  • Strong critical thinker; natural problem solver
  • Outstanding communication skills; able to influence all types of people (levels and styles); comfortable advising and coaching Sr. leaders

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and strategically analyze organizational development opportunities
  • to ensure departments are set up to operate efficiently and effectively
  • Play and active role in the oversight and leadership of our Total Rewards
  • Strategy
  • Develop a Performance Management System vision and strategy ensuring
  • modern practices and a focus employee engagement and motivation
  • Play a key role in outlining a Talent Development strategy and approach
  • Provide coaching to employees & managers, offering feedback and advice on
  • issues; ensure an even balance of employee advocacy and company
  • representation
  • Ensure Mavenlink is in compliance with federal and state regulations

Experience and Skills:
  • Requires a BS/BA degree in related field
  • 8+ years progressive HR leadership experience; or any combination of
  • education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Experience working and leading small/hands-on HR environments; ability to
  • balance strategic, high-level work with tactical execution
  • Strong background managing projects from launch to execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; commitment to develop
  • and earn the trust of others
  • Ability to influence and champion effective change
