  • are able to understand complex systems and how changes to one feature may impact another part of the product

  • are self-driven and love to seek out, identify, and find the root cause of bugs

  • are no stranger to web inspector, stack trace, and console log

  • are skilled at communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • are able to work with distributed teams to prioritize tasks

  • value a collaborative environment and giving/receiving feedback 

  • can work in the details without losing perspective of the product as a whole

  • Assertive and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Familiarity working in an Agile environment and knowledge of continuous integration tools 

  • Know enough HTML, JS, CSS and SQL to be dangerous


  • Become an expert on the inner workings of the Mavenlink product

  • Create and execute test plans based on product requirements and specifications

  • Maintain and communicate testing timelines, schedules and status reports

  • Verify that features work correctly and respect permissions and plan, while keeping an eye open for regressions

  • Identify product defects, log issues into a bug tracking system, and verify fixes

  • Validate the user experience flow to ensure it solves the problem as outlined

  • Work with the support team to review and prioritize bugs in tracking system
