Ray Grainger is the Founder and CEO of Mavenlink, where he is leading the mission to reinvent the way businesses do work. He has dedicated his career to helping clients succeed, and brings over 25 years of experience in software and high technology consulting to Mavenlink.
Ray began his career at Accenture, where he spent 17 years honing his expertise in professional services management as Global Managing Partner, consulting for both large enterprises as well as small and medium-sized businesses. During his time at Accenture, Ray also invested in several technology companies through Accenture Technology Ventures, including enterprise knowledge management vendor InQuira. He later became Executive Vice President of Professional Services and Strategic Alliances at InQuira (acquired by Oracle in 2011), where he met his Mavenlink co-founders, Roger Neel and Sean Crafts.
With a career built on tackling tough problems to help organizations work smarter and more profitably, Ray is the embodiment of the Mavenlink Mission: to help companies of any size across the globe conduct business better by combining technology and industry best practices. In his spare time, Ray is a true adventurer. He is an avid diver, world traveler, and has served on two expeditions to Antarctica with the National Science Foundation (for which he earned a congressional medal for Antarctic Service). Ray holds a B.S. in Engineering with distinction from Harvey Mudd College, where he is also a trustee.

A software expert with over 12 years in the industry, Roger is an advocate for technology solutions that deliver business value. He brings expertise and best practices insight across industries in the areas of content management, knowledge management, and social networking applications. As CTO, Roger directs the product and engineering decisions of Mavenlink.
An accomplished web app designer, Ruby on Rails engineer, and thought leader in agile software development, Roger has worked with and advised a range of companies: from newly-formed startups to nationally recognized products and brands such as Apple, 3M, and Bank of America. He helped advise new product development and engineering while part of the Sales and Partners team for integrated knowledge management platform InQuira (acquired by Oracle in 2011), where he met fellow Mavenlink co-founders Ray Grainger and Sean Crafts.
Outside of leading the Mavenlink engineering team, Roger dedicates his time to mentoring startup founders and software developers. He is passionate about sharing his insight and advice with others when it comes to navigating the critical cross-section between business and technology. He was an early adopter and an advocate for the Lean Startup movement and pair programming principles. Roger carries a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from Cornell University.

Sean Crafts brings to the Mavenlink team an innate understanding of the client experience as Mavenlink's Chief Customer Officer. He interfaces with every Mavenlink department, lending his unique vantage point to the Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR teams.
Prior to Mavenlink, Sean spent 10 years growing integrated knowledge management platform InQuira (acquired by Oracle in 2011). As Senior Director, he was instrumental in growing InQuira from a startup with 15 employees to a company poised for acquisition with over 150 employees and annual gross revenues of over $30 million. At InQuira, Sean directed the firm’s Alliance and Channel Sales Division, where he worked with future Mavenlink partners Ray Grainger and Roger Neel.
In addition to thinking of ways to improve the Mavenlink customer experience, he spearheads the company’s growth and strategy initiative which seeks to expand Mavenlink’s partnerships and capabilities to better serve clients on a global scale. Sean is most deeply involved in devising new programs to keep Mavenlink in the forefront of emerging trends that impact how the world conducts business. In-between growing Mavenlink, advising aspiring entrepreneurs, and running after six children, Sean can also be found on a surfboard (his happy place). He holds degrees in Environmental Science and Philosophy from Duke University, as well as a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law.

Over 18 years of entrepreneurial software development experience have prepared Andrew with the right blend of knowledge and leadership needed for his role as Chief Architect at Mavenlink, where he steers the technical direction of the Mavenlink engineering team.
Prior to Mavenlink, Andrew worked at Pivotal Labs, CastTV, and Google, where he became proficient in agile software development practices. He is a specialist in repeatable processes, automated testing, and sustainable engineering. Andrew has also built, run, and sold several web properties.
In his life before Mavenlink, Andrew focused on the study of Intelligent Systems, specifically Artificial Intelligence in computer games and machine learning in web applications. Andrew holds a B.S. in Physics from Haverford College and an M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Daren Lauda brings 20 years of sales experience to the rapid expansion of Mavenlink’s small business, mid-market, and enterprise sales teams. He possesses sales expertise in the space of enterprise cloud software and services.
Prior to joining Mavenlink, Daren honed his skills building and managing global sales teams at large public and early stage companies such as Arbortext/PTC, TRIRIGA, and Salesforce.com. While at Salesforce, Daren served as Region Vice President where he managed enterprise and commercial sales teams for the cloud-based CRM platform. As a former Infantry Team Leader in the US Army, Daren learned early on how a common goal combined with strong leadership skills can transform a group of people into a unified team — and he has brought that mentality with him to all positions, past and present.
Daren is skilled in the areas of driving license revenue, recruiting and building enterprise software sales teams (including sales engineers and inside sales), increasing deal sizes, growing pipeline, building new territories, and managing through periods of change. Daren is the recipient of such honors as President's Club, Region Cup, and Rookie of the Year, and holds a B.S. in Management from Pepperdine University, and an M.B.A. from California State University at Long Beach.

John Reese has spent close to 20 years marketing B2B technology and SaaS businesses, ranging from Fortune 500 to early-stage companies. John brings this expertise to his role as Senior Vice President of Marketing, where he oversees Mavenlink’s marketing and growth strategies.
Prior to Mavenlink, John led marketing and sales development at Velocify, a fast-growing leader in the B2B sales technology industry, helping the company reposition and grow exponentially over his tenure. John also spent 10 years building and leading the global marketing efforts of HireRight, helping take the company from start-up to successful IPO and $300 million plus market leader with a reputation of being one of the most-admired providers in the human resources technology space.
Earlier in his career, John held product marketing, marketing communications, public relations, digital, and demand generation roles at software start-ups Versada Networks and Access360 (acquired by IBM), and public technology companies Rainbow Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Safenet) and MicroAge, Inc. John holds an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in Business (emphasis in Marketing) with honors from Arizona State University.
